- Service, repair, and/or propose replacement of gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, electric furnaces.
Troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues to keep equipment functioning properly.
Test each system after service/repair is complete to ensure the system is functioning properly.
Perform proper inspection of customer system to prevent future issues.
Explain each service and repair performed to customers.
Accurately track: Age and type of each system component on invoices.
Debrief service call with manager after each service call and Turn in all parts receipts, packing slips, contracts, and invoices daily.
Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion.
Maintains company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.
Maintain a professional image at all times.
Following safety policies and procedures.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as a Service Technician in a residential service and maintenance operation.
Knowledge of the fundamental of operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
Solid communication and customer service skills.
Must have appropriate trade tools.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to carry certificate
Primary Duties include:
- Perform various property maintenance functions which may include, but are not limited to: Windows & Door installations, receptacle changes, caulking, appliance repairs, painting, lock repairs, plumbing repairs, preventative maintenance, light drywall, vinyl repair & installation, etc.;Prepare and assist in preparing all vacant units
Winterization of units
Respond to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner
Perform on-call ³EMS² (emergency services) as required
Report any maintenance concerns for repairs Service Manager as required
Assist in monitoring and/or controlling maintenance inventory and/or supplies
Assist in keeping Office and units in a professional show ready status
Consistently maintain a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with tenants, coworkers and the general public at all times on or off the property
- Own hand tools
Clean Driving history
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A TEAM SPIRIT with the ability to work independently
Team Leadership Skills and experience with suporvising large site or Multi-Site Properties
